Social media is a good marketing channel but it’s also an excellent tool to provide customer service. Many people prefer an online option for receiving customer service so that they don’t have to make a phone call, and possibly wait on hold. Social media allows them to send a quick message and respond in their own time when they get an answer.

Even if social media is just the first point of contact before a phone call, it’s a very useful way to get information about a customer’s query or complaint and respond quickly.

Monitor Your Competitors

Finding out about what your competitors are doing is an important part of making business decisions. But keeping an eye on them can be time-consuming, and it’s not always easy. Social media can help you if you want to monitor your competitors. Using a tool like Brand Total, you can find out what they’re doing and how they’re using social media.

You’ll catch when people are praising you, when they’re making complaints, and when they might be making suggestions for what they’d like to see from your brand. Sell Straight from Social Media

If you’re not already using social media to sell your products directly, it could be something that you want to start doing. You can sell straight from social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, making it quicker and easier for people to buy from you when they see your social posts and ads.

Setting up these sales channels is easy and could increase your conversions from social media so you benefit more from the platforms you use.
